Rules for Hire / Use or the Inflatables (Bouncy Castles)
- Nobody over the age of 12 is allowed use the Inflatables.
- No food or drinks of any kind are to be consumed inside the units or at the entry / exit points.
- All shoes, badges, other sharp objects or large pieces of jewellery MUST be removed before entering the Inflatables.
- It is recommended that spectacles be removed.
- Climbing, sitting or hanging on any part of the inflatable is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.
- It is the sole responsibility of the Parents / Guardians attending any event to supervise their children at all time.
- A minimum of 2 adults must supervise each inflatable and ensure no overcrowding occurs. The maximum number who can use each devise is clearly marked and must be adhered to at all times.
- Children must be grouped in age / size groups.
- Children are not permitted to fight, push, collide or behave in any manner that might cause injury or distress to other users of these devices.
- Children are not allowed to jump on the entry or exit points of the inflatables.
- No children with history of back, neck limb or other possible risk category are allowed use the inflatables.
- Safety mats are provided at the impact areas of entry and exit locations and it is the responsibility of the adults in attendance to ensure they are maintained in place.
- Only caretakers are allowed to operate the inflatables and under no circumstances are parents, guardians or children allowed to do anything to interfere with the correct procedure for operation.
- All persons using these devices do so solely at their own risk.
- Parents/Guardians are reminded they have sole responsibility for their charges whilst using the Community Centre.
- All accidents / incidents no matter how trivial must be reported to the Caretaker immediately.
